11). ASTROLOGICAL READING FOR THE 2004
WINTER SOLSTICE RITUAL IN STONEHENGE.
The conditions
astrologically for the
ritual were good.
The sun was
trine to the
moon in the
fifth house indicating
harmonious expression and
strong energy. Male
and female combination
gave positive force,
this gave power
to creating harmony
and healing. Sun
was also conjunct
Pluto, in the
twelfth house that
energy enables the
ability to focus
the will and
accentuates the power
of the subconscious,
this is good
to help reach higher
dimensions and communicate
on a deeper
level. The states
of higher consciousness. If
the higher self
and higher spirit
guides can link
up, then their
light energy can
transform the physical
state they can
work through you. Particularly if
the intent is
universal for the
good of all.
This combined with
the aspect of
the sun being
sextile to Uranus
in the third
house really powered
up the willpower,
and the desire
to manifest and
achieve.
The sun
was trine the
moon’s nodes in
the house of
creativity again accentuating
willpower, to our
goals. The MC
was sextile to
the sun indicating
that we are
driven, and must
follow our path.
We had come
together to do
this.
The moon
was trine the
ascendant showing empathy
with others, sensitivity
and constructive expression. The moon
square Saturn in
the seventh house
made it important
to heal the
past, to let go of
our own past
or any negativity
and to heal the
earth energy of
any past abuse. The
moon sextile Uranus
helped us to
let go.
The exaltation
of Saturn in the seventh
house of Libra
made the energies
of fairness ,harmony
love and justice
together with responsibility very
important. Moon conjunct
the node accentuated
this with a flow of
harmony and creativity.
The Venus square
Uranus helped reverses
and changes together
with Mars trine
Saturn where Mars
is exalted means
hard work and a driven
purposeful action towards
a positive result.
Energy must not
be wasted, stamina and
motivation were strong, this
will also continue
on as a
living energy after
the ritual . We
will not be
swayed off course.
Other alignments,
were also very
good Jupiter had
a lovely trine
to Neptune in
Aquarius, to help
push forward the
Aquarian age.
Jupiter was
also in Libra
bringing more harmony
beauty and love
bringing people together
in love. Wanting
to manifest love
into the earth.
There were four
alignments in Sagittarius
including Venus, Mercury,
and Pluto, three
of which were
in the twelfth
house again this
emphasized unconscious memories
and has to
do with distant unconscious
knowing and intuitive
feelings.
Mercury was
conjunct Venus again
in twelfth house
a good time
for a ritual
like this based
on beauty of
thoughts and attracting change.
Grounding thoughts
of compassion to the vortex.
The twelfth house
was occupied with
four planets in
Sag governing the
love principle ruled
by Neptune invoking
higher powers of
love and insight.
Sag also sextile
to Neptune connecting
to second house
of humanitarian causes.
The Winter
Solstice is a
time for the
return of the
Sun the birth
of the Sun,
again light returns.
It is also
a time when
the veil is
thin between dimensions,
communication is good
at this time.
The Sun
for this ritual
was also in the
first house and
conjunct the ascendant
meaning intense self
awareness and importance
as if everything
stepped forward and
just allowed the
right elements and
energies to take
place. The monument
of Stonehenge is
also working with
the universe at
the Solstice the
sunset shines into
the temple from
the south west.
These are ritual
alignments connecting us
to the skies
and the seasonal
flow of time
and have done
for thousands of
years making the
possibility of strong
positive energies very
important there. At onetime
the stone circle
temples were places
of great energy
and power, where
mind and spirit
had power over
the physical world.
A simplicity existed
which I feel
brought them closer
to the spirit
realms and other
dimensions that they
were seeking. They
had a wisdom and magical simple
trust in the
universe to meet
their needs. We
must try to
learn from these ancient people,
this is an
attitude we should
try to cultivate
more and more
as our current
day society spirals
increasingly out of
control and the
obsession of the
material world. Caring for
all life on
earth and respecting
this planet in
a real way
is the way
to be happy
and regain our
connection with the
higher dimensions.
Blessed be and so mote it be.
